LABEL IMPRESSIONS, INC. WINS BIG AGAIN!
TLMI ANNOUNCES 2017 WORLD LABEL AWARDS

Tag & Label Manufacturers Insitute (TLMI) has recently announced that five converter member companies, including Southern California-based Label Impressions, Inc., have won L9 World Label Awards. The L9 World Label Awards (WLA) competition is judged by an international panel of judges representing each of the participating L9 member associations, among them TLMI.  The judging took place in Brussels the day before Labelexpo Europe 2017 at the exhibition venue. 

CTGA, one of Label Impression’s key suppliers, congratulates the printer and all the other winners announced.  Label Impressions winning piece – the Deva Curl Buildup Buster label – was printed using Asahi’s AWP water wash printing plates.

Commenting on the achievement, Label Impressions owner Jeff Salisbury had this to say, “Translating the unique customer design concepts was a challenge that any other plate besides Asahi’s AWP might not have been up to. The extremely tight registration, on both labels and translucent and 3D effects, came out beautifully, between the AWP plate material and our expert in-house production staff. What’s more, we did this utilizing a water-washout plate that reduces VOCs to almost zero, causes less buildup, and greatly reduces cleanup and press downtime. We couldn’t be happier with the results from using Asahi flexo plate material.”
